Well, hello, you!

A bit about myself:

All I really want my bio to say is that being a board-certified music therapist is my dream job.

But, in case you’d like to know more, here is the rest of it:

I have a B.A. in Communication Disorders from Truman State University and an M.A. in Music Therapy from the University of Iowa.  I’ve had the opportunity and honor to use music therapy with children, teens, and adults with communication disorders, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

On the side, I enjoy all things web design, photography, running MusicTherapyEbooks.com with Michelle Erfurt, writing ebooks (“Children’s Songs for Therapy”, and, “Listen, Sing, Speak!”), collaborating, making videos for parents/educators/IEP teams to support what is done in direct music therapy (for transfer of skills), jogging with my pup, eating too many fried pickles, and getting lost in new cities.
